Deepotsav 2025: For the first time in Ayodhya, surveillance with AI cameras on the lines of Mahakumbh.

Ayodhya, October 17 (IANS). This time, Deepotsav 2025 will not only become a symbol of grandeur and cultural heritage, but it will also provide a great example of technical management. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi, for the first time surveillance on such a large scale by AI cameras will be done on the lines of Mahakumbh in Deepotsav. For the safety of devotees and crowd control, 11 Artificial Intelligence (AI) cameras are deployed in the entire fair area, watching every nook and cranny. These AI cameras will be live at Lata Chowk, Dharam Path, Ram Path and Ram Ki Paidi through which people coming and going from all directions will be monitored. DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde said that this time the administration has taken unprecedented steps to ensure the safety of lakhs of devotees coming for Deepotsav. AI cameras will not only do head count of the crowd but will also be able to identify suspicious persons. If there is a large crowd in any area, an alert will be immediately sent to the officers through these cameras, through which crowd management can be done immediately. He said on the instructions of CM Yogi, 11 AI cameras will remain in active mode. These cameras have been tested in the fairgrounds. The entire venue area will be covered with 11 AI cameras. During Deepotsav, there will be real-time monitoring of the devotees coming and going through these cameras. This time AI crowd management system is being implemented in Ayodhya on the lines of Mahakumbh. This will not only enable scientific analysis of the crowd but will also enable quick action in case of emergency. The data received from the cameras will reach the administration in the form of live updates. This technology will ensure security, discipline and comfort. DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde further said that the intention of the Yogi government is that the celebration of Deepotsav should not only be important from the religious point of view but also set an example in terms of security arrangements with the use of modern technology.
