Indigo and Air India canceled or re -determined 1.017 and 662 flights respectively. Spicejet canceled or redeemed 334, Air India Express 427 and Akasa Air 18 flights. Airline must bear the costs, including extra fuel, crew overtime, maintenance, airport fees and re -restriction expenses due to delay and cancellation of repayment or compensation to passengers for diagnosis or delay. It is necessary to repay passengers or give compensation for cancellation or delay. The minister said the number of passengers by domestic airlines during January June 2025 was an increase of 7.34 percent compared to the same period last year.
