New -Delhi, September 30 (IANS). In the Nand Nagri area in Delhi, police arrested an ordinary criminal with a knife. This action was done by the patrol team of the Nand Nagri police station based on secret information. Police gave this information on Tuesday. The arrested accused was identified as Aman alias Bandar, 24, a resident of Nand Nagari. On September 29, at about 7:30 pm, the Nand Nagri police patrol team patrols regularly near District Park. Meanwhile, Constable Deepak and Vimal saw a suspicious person. The police caught him. When he searched, a knife from the button was recovered from him. Police registered a case against him in terms of section 25 of the Arms Act at the Nand Nagri police station. When police investigated Aman’s criminal background, it was revealed that it was already involved in five criminal cases such as robbery, theft and violation of the Arms Act. Aman alias Bandar is considered an ordinary criminal in the world of crime and he walked with a knife in the area in search of easy targets. Police began questioning by arresting him. The investigation into the case is underway. This rapid action of the Nand Nagri police station helped to combat crime in the area. Local people appreciated the vigilance of the police. Police say such patrolling and actions about secret information will create fear among criminals and increase safety in the area. Further investigation in this case will find out if there are any connection with other criminal activities of Aman.
