New -Delhi: The meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Delhi meeting was held Thursday chaired by the chairman of the committee, Mla Ajay Mahawar. In the meeting, the report on the controller and the Auditor -General (CAG) and mutual relationships and functioning of PAC was discussed in detail. These people were present in the meeting to discuss the meeting, PAC members Arvinder Singh Lovely, Satish Upadhyay, Shikha Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Rajkumar Chauhan, Atatra Kadayan and Kuldeep Kumar were present. Many senior officials, including additional deputy controller and auditor -general (CAG), Secretary of Health, Excise Commissioner, Transport Commissioner, Additional General Secretary (environment), Delhi meeting secretary and Secretary of Finance, were also present in the meeting. During the meeting held on the CAG report of air pollution, alcohol sales and health, the PAC held serious discussion on air pollution, irregularities related to health and CAG reports related to health. The committee sought information from various departments to ensure transparency and accountability of these topics and considered further action plan. Said, transparency and accountability of functioning must be ensured. During the meeting, Mahawar said that the obligation of the Public Accounts Committee is not only the reports, but to ensure the transparency and accountability of the functioning in the public interest.
