In this order, to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, Delhi police raised the foot patrols in the capital. During this period, special attention is paid to markets and overcrowded areas. Delhi police said the purpose of this exercise is to establish a sense of confidence among the public through his visible presence and community participation. Increased police activities also help track criminals and prevent crimes in crowded areas. Senior officials from the various areas lead the patrol teams.
