According to the police, there was already a dispute between the deceased and the accused. The police are investigating the case and are expected to arrest the accused soon. Jagran Correspondent, Outer Delhi. To avenge a mutual dispute, a young man along with his friends stabbed his neighbor to death in Holambi Kalan village in Narela industrial area. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Vicky Thapa. The police have registered a case of murder and are raiding various places in search of the fugitive accused. Remove Advertisement Only Read News Outer North District Police Deputy Commissioner Hareshwar V Swamy said that the Narela Industrial Area police station received information at around 12:13 on Monday evening that a young man was attacked with a knife behind the Water Board’s office of Holambi Kalan. The informant said that four-five people attacked the young man with a knife, causing him serious injuries. When the police went to the spot on information, they got information from the Maharishi Valmiki Hospital that Vicky Thapa, resident of Holambi Kalan, was brought dead after being stabbed. There was a dispute three days ago. Police investigation revealed that Vicky was selling Chinese food by setting up a street vendor in Holambi Kalan. Three days ago he had a fight with his neighbor Mangal over some issue. To take revenge for the fight, Mangal along with his friends reached Vicky’s street vendor on Monday night. First there was an altercation, then Mangal and his associates attacked Vicky with a knife. Vicky was seriously injured in the attack and died instantly. The accused were identified from the CCTV footage. The police registered a case of murder and started investigation. The footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident site was scrutinized, in which the main accused Mangal was identified. The police raided his house, but he was found absconding. With the help of technical surveillance and local sources, the police team conducts continuous raids to arrest the accused. Preliminary investigation revealed that the killing took place due to a personal dispute. The police officer said the real reasons for the incident will be known after the arrest of the accused.
