Beed, September 17 (IANS). Devendra Fadnavis, chief minister of Maharashtra, inaugurated the Amalner speed railway on Wednesday and marked from the train from Beed to Ahilyanagar. On this occasion, the chief minister said that the beginning of Railways in Beed is true for a long -standing dream. The project is the result of the foresight of Gopinathrao Munde and the former MP Kesrakaku Kshirsagar, whose hard work and struggle came true today. The chief minister said in his speech: “The credit for the realization of the dream of the Railways of Beed is going to Gopinathrao Munde, without whose struggles and efforts it would not have been possible. This railway is a true tribute to him.” Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who is also the foster minister of the district of the district and several other prominent leaders, including Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, were present at the event. Chief Minister Fadnavis said: “The day of September 17 is celebrated as Marathwada Mukti Day and is also the birthday of Premier Narendra Modi today. On the same day, this historic railway project is dedicated to the service of the citizens of Beed, which makes this day even more special.” The chief minister said that the central and state governments worked together after 2014 to quickly complete the project. He said: “The Modi government has awarded Rs 21,000 crore for railway projects in Marathwada over the past ten years, while only Rs 450 crore has been received in the last ten years.
