Police Director General Rajiv Sharma (DGP), Jodhpur reached a day -long visit on Wednesday. During this, he held a meeting with police officers and soldiers and gave many important guidelines to strengthen law and order in the state. Strict stance on illegal drug smuggling DGP Sharma said cases of smuggling of illegal drugs in Rajasthan arrive. Special campaigns are being held to combat them. He clearly said that no gang or person involved in smuggling would be spared. Instructions were also given to increase special monitoring on border areas and highways. At the press conference, the emphasis on improving policing further, the DGP acknowledged that the ordinary man should get quickly and sensitive service from the police. He said that giving justice to the victim should be the first priority in every police station. For this, officers were instructed to follow up and monitoring regularly. The DGP also held a meeting with police officers at a review meeting with officials. In this meeting, the law and command of the district, crime status and pending cases were reviewed. He asked officials to ensure transparency and accountability at every level.
