In Bihar, a big step has been taken to make agriculture modern and based on technology. The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, CUM, Minister of Agriculture, Vijay Kumar Sinha, today introduced the Agricultural Radio Distribution System for Artificial Intelligence (AI). This innovative initiative was launched in the Media Center of Krishi Bhawan in Patna. Pankaj Kumar, general secretary of the Department of Agriculture, was also present at the event. Attempts to provide new technology to the farmers, through this new system, will be made available to farmers in simple and accessible ways, such as the right method of farming, weather forecasting, crop management, fertilizer and pesticide, government schemes and market prices. Using artificial intelligence, this system can provide personal advice based on the language of the farmers, their territory and seasonal needs. The message of the Minister of Agriculture, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, said at the event: “Bihar is an agricultural statement. The use of digital technology to strengthen the farmers here is the need for the hour. This AI -based distribution system will make farming more scientific, which will increase the productivity and achieve the goal of the revenue.” He further said that this system will not only be limited to information to the farmers, but that they will also provide practical solutions. Pankaj Kumar, general secretary of the Department of Agriculture, the role of the Agriculture Division said that this new initiative would reduce the distance between farmers and agricultural scientists. Farmers will be able to post their questions directly on this platform and they will find immediate solution. Information can also be transferred to the farmers of rural areas by the radio distribution system, which is not yet fully linked to the digital platform.
