"We are not responsible if an accident occurred in Ajmer Dargah" is the riot over Nazim's notice
The notice issued by Nazim of Ajmer Dargah has been criticized by several Muslim organizations. This notice denies the responsibility of any accident caused by old structures in the Dargah complex. In this notice issued on July 21, the pilgrims were warned against possible structural dangers in the Dargah complex, but it is said that the administration would not be legally responsible in the case of accidents. ‘Such disconnection is not allowed’ The Muslim Progressive Federation described this notice as ‘disgraceful’ and ‘lack of responsibility’. In a letter to Nazim, Federation President Abdul Salam Johar said: “It is unacceptable to issue such a disconnection anywhere of spiritual importance.” The letter said that the administration, instead of denying responsibility, should have identified and restored unsecured areas. Mohsin Rashid, president of Rajasthan Muslim Alliance, described it as a “neglect of duty”. He said that Ajmer Sharif is not a tourist destination, but a prayer. There was a lot of opposition on social media, this notice created resentment on social media and many people demanded that if this dissatisfaction is not withdrawn and that safety measures are not taken, the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs must intervene. No comments have been received from Nazim’s office yet. Share this story -tags
