Divya, who won medals in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Championships, is known for her strength and aggressive style. Divya, who was born on October 8, 1988 in Puralian, Uttar Pradesh, inherited this match. Divya’s grandfather was a wrestler. Divya’s father, Suraj Kakran, went out of the village of Up himself to go to Delhi to make a career in wrestling, but he couldn’t succeed. After giving up, the father returned to his village. After this, the father started a dairy industry, but again failed. Eventually, Suraj came with his wife and two children to Gokulpuri in Delhi. Suraj Kakran came to Delhi and started the cloths worn in the wrestling game. The sun itself would sew them and sell them in the riots. One day, Suraj Kakran read about the famous female wrestler Geeta Phogat in the newspaper. He felt his daughter could also fight against Dangal. Although Suraj himself could not become a wrestler, he decided to realize his dream through children. At the time, the family lived in a rented room, which cost Rs 500 a month. Suraj Kakran was less trained. In such a situation, he did not even have many work options, but despite the closeness, he continued to dream of making children a wrestler. Suraj started teaching his children wrestling. When Divya was just 5 years old, she started with her brother after the arena. She sat in a corner and copied the wrestlers’ interests. Gradually, Divya began to drop herself in the arena. He also started beating boys here. Divya Kakran did not look back from here. He won the ‘Bharat Kesari’ title in the year 2018. He defeated Ritu Malik in the final match played in Bhiwani, Haryana. After this, in December 2017, Divya won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship. In the same year he won the silver in the Women’s Freestyle 69 kg category of the Asian wrestling championship. In the year 2018, Divya won the bronze medal for the country in the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. In 2019, he won the bronze medal in the Asian championship. During the Asian championship held in New Delhi in 2020, Divya won the gold in 68 kg category. The following year he won gold for India in the 72 kg category. Divya Kakran married National Bodybuilder Sachin Pratap Singh in February 2023, a resident of MeerUT.
