Diwali 2025 The state’s biggest Diwali celebration on Wednesday on Chhoti Diwali in Kalyanpur, Munger. 11 lakh lamps were lit simultaneously. On the occasion of Deepotsav, Badi Durga Maharani Kalyanpur was decorated and Maha Aarti of Ganga was performed. Men, women and children came from far and wide to see this wonderful festival of lights. Villagers and youth club members of Kalyanpur played an active role in lighting lakhs of lamps. After the Deepotsav, Maha Aarti of Mother Ganga was performed in a grand manner. The whole atmosphere became sacred. The Deepotsav program was inaugurated by DM Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar, SP Syed Imran Masood and other dignitaries. Preparations for the light festival had been going on for two weeks. Besides Munger, people from Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Banka and Jumai districts also visited the Deepotsav Mahotsav.
