DMK is afraid of AIADMK-BJP Alliance: Nirmala Periasam

Chennai, October 3 (IANS). The entire India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) spokesman Nirmala Periasamy launched a shocking attack on Tamil Nadu’s ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Chief Minister MK Stalin. He said the DMK was afraid of Aiadmk and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Alliance. Nirmala claimed that the DMC’s nervousness about the upcoming election in the meeting is clearly visible, and therefore the chief minister repeatedly expresses his enmity towards Aiadmk. The DMK and its government do not want Aiadmk to have any relationship with the BJP. They are afraid of this alliance because it can become a strong option among the people of Tamil Nadu. He claimed that this strategy of DMK is only for political profits and that the Chief Minister Aiadmk attacks to hide his failures. He also questioned the performance of the DMK government and compared the workstyle of Chief Minister MK Stalin to his father and former chief minister M. Karunanidhi. Nirmala haunts, “This is the old style of Stalin, who has been going on since his father’s era. The DMK made 521 promises in his election manifesto, but 21 did not even fulfill. The chief minister still said as if he had fulfilled 90 percent of the promises.” The AIADMC spokesman also accused the DMK government of ignoring public issues. He said the government had not taken any concrete steps on issues such as unemployment, inflation and a lack of infrastructure in Tamil Nadu. Instead, DMK is only raising mud on opposition parties. He claimed that Aiadmk had always been committed to the public interest and that the public would teach a lesson to the DMC in the upcoming election. No final decision was made on the possibility of an alliance between AIADMK and BJP, but the fear of DMK shows that they take this possibility seriously. Our party will do everything to ensure a strong and rich future for the people of Tamil Nadu. -Ians Aks/DSC shares this story -tags
