15 days of Krishna Paksha of the Ashwin month is known as Shraddha or Pitra Paksha. Producers nowadays get Pindadan and Tarpan in particular and it is believed that the ancestors are satisfied and that their blessings protect the family and make life successful. There are many mythological stories in the Puranas about the importance of Shraddha. One such story is found in Harivansh Purana, which is an appendix of Mahabharata. Shraddha Kalpa Vidhan is glorified from chapter 16 to chapter 24 of Harivansh Purana. This glory was told when Janmaya Shraddha had to perform his father. He then asked Maharishi Vaishampayan and Mahamuni Vedas about its importance and reason. In response to this question, Maharishi Vaishampayan told the story of Bhishma Pitamah, who explained the importance of Shraddha to Maharaja Yudhishthira by Maharishi Markandeya. According to legend, Rishi Markandeya said while addressing Bhishma that the whole world was walking on Shraddha and balancing with his virtue. In the testimony of this, they tell a story and say that seven Brahmins received the best vagina in ancient times due to the influence of Shraddha. His names were – Vagddushish, Currency, Violence, Pishun, Kavi, Khasrin and Pitruvarti. They were all sons of Vishwamitra and were born in various vaginas because of the curse of their father. Nevertheless, he later received the best vagina and knowledge of the virtues of Shraddha. These seven Brahmins became a disciple of Gargya and followed Brahmacharya and began living in his ashram. Once, with the orders of the Guru, he grazed with his milk cow and his calf in the woods. He was hungry on his way and thought to kill the cow cruelly. The poet and the Khasrin opposed it, but the other brothers did not listen to them. Then a pioneer Brahmin named Pitruvarti suggested that if the cow should be killed, he should go to the ancestors. By doing so, the cow will also receive religion and will not find it the guilt of iniquity. Everyone accepted this proposal and offered the cow to the ancestors. He then lied to the Guru that the cow was killed by Singh and handed the calf to the Guru. Because of this sin, these seven brothers were born as Vikas (Hunter) after death. These seven brothers derived from the fruits of different vagrants and Shraddha were born in their first birth and were born in Dasharna land. Their names were – Nirvara, Nirvat, Calm, Nirmal, Kriti, Validas and Matruvarti. They all followed religion and kept away from lie. He remembers the actions of his previous birth and is included in meditation. After the death of the parents, he gave up the bow and fasted in the woods and gave up his life. Because of his pleasant acts, he was born on the Kalanjar mount as Antelope (deer). Their names were – east, divine, stunned, vilochan, pandit, ghasmer and river. He also remembers his previous birth in this birth. He patiently tolerated the suffering, followed Brahmacharya and admitted to fine. Later, they originated in the Jaldwip as a chakravak bird. His names were – Appun, merciless, calm, nirvid wall, nipugra, retirement and innocent. Even in this birth, he followed celibacy and gave up his life while doing fine on the banks of the river. Birth as Brahmadatta in complex Nagar. He was then born in the form of independent Brahmadatta, Porchidarshan Panchik and Sunetra Kandirak in full Nagar. He was a scholar of Ved-Vedang and included in yoga practice. The remaining four Hans, Sumana, Shuchi, pure and fifth poor, were born in the Kshatriya -Clan and were active in yoga practice. At the same time, the father of the four Brahmins, who taught the verses from his sons, told the shloka to Brahmadatta. Brahmadatta, Panchal and Kandak remembered their previous births. They became unconscious, but later when he regained consciousness, he gave money and pleasure to the Brahmins.
