Doctor arrested for impersonating as officer scam crores by posing as IAS

This fraud was uncovered through a sting operation. The accused took money from people in the name of providing them a government job. Dr. Vivek Mishra, the leader of the gang who duped more than 150 people by posing as IAS and IPS of Gujarat cadre, was arrested by the joint team of Chinhat and CID from near Kamta Tirahe on Thursday. Inspector CID Ramesh Chandra Tiwari said that Vivek along with his sister and other people committed fraud. The CID team swooped in to find him. Inspector said that the arrested accused Dr. Vivek Mishra alias Vivek Anand Mishra is originally a resident of Shivpuri Colony, Chas, Bokaro district of Jharkhand. This gang was exposed in a sting conducted by a lawyer. Advocate Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, who submitted the report in this case, said that he Dr. met Vivek Mishra in a hotel at PGI in June 2018. Vivek described himself as a 2014 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre. He said that if there is any work then let me know, it will be easy to get it done. When information was obtained about Vivek, it was found that he was extorting money in the name of work by creating fake profiles on Facebook and WhatsApp and cheating girls by chatting with them on the pretext of marriage. Dr. Vivek also described his sisters Nidhi and Vidhi as IPS and IG level officers of Gujarat cadre. In such a situation, he conducted a sting operation to collect evidence. He, together with his junior lawyers, presented himself as a candidate for the position and made a working agreement with Dr. Vivek Mishra for Rs 5 lakh finalized. He gave a total of Rs 4.5 lakh to the alleged IAS in Lucknow and Gujarat. In October 2018, she received an appointment letter as Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Gujarat. After this, in April 2019, another appointment letter of Deputy SP under sports quota was given. When investigation was done, both the appointment letters were found to be fake. Inspector Chinhat Dinesh Chandra Mishra said that the gang’s links are not spread in one or two but in many states. Baby Tiwari, Meera Rawat, Anand Kumar, Jayant Kumar, Rupa Thakur and others are with Vivek. Investigation revealed that Vivek’s associate Anand Kumar posed as Deputy SP in front of everyone during the fraud. At the same time, Jayant Kumar used to get fake SIMs to talk to different people. In such a situation, police custody will be taken from Vivek to get complete information. This was the case Inspector Chinhat Dinesh Chandra Mishra said that High Court Advocate Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, resident of Vikalp Khand filed a case at Chinhat Police Station on July 24, 2019. It was informed that Dr. Vivek Mishra, along with his sister Nidhi Mishra and IPS Mishra and IPS besishra, IPS and IPS.
