A number of cadres were injured as a result of beating and throwing chairs. The Secretary of Merangin Regency PPP DPC, Jambi, Muchlisin accused the riot of being a spontaneous incident. In the incident, three cadres who came from Pandegose and South Sulawesi became victims of beating and throwing chairs. Two of them sustained serious injuries, one of which was torn on the lips to hit the teeth, while other victims tore in the right temple and crashed into the upper jaw. “It is a criminal act that injures democracy. We are carrying out the constitutional process of strengthening democracy, but there are parties that damage it in anarchy ways.
