Jakarta – Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the DPR has agreed to make a new law related to service after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK). The DPR will also form a formulating team to discuss the bill. It was transferred by Dasco while reading an audience with the trade union and the Minister of Red and White Cabinet, in the House Commission of Meeting Room, the parliamentary complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/9/2025). Present during the meeting, the Minister of Manpower Yassierli, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Eightas, p2mi minister Mukhtarudin. “The DPR will take a new Labor Act in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court,” Dasco said. Dasco said the DPR will also accommodate public aspirations related to the formation of the manpower bill. He encouraged the public to participate in providing input. “The DPR will encourage public participation as widely as possible for the benefit of the formation of the new Labor Act,” he said. “So, please understand, like the Criminal Procedure Act, we will continue to accept public participation until then we can truly formulate so that we will accept the law that is expected by us all,” he continued. The Gerindra Daily Chairman also requested trade unions to help the formulation of the Manpower Bill. He made sure that the DPR would listen to the pursuit that came in. “We ask for help from friends of the Confederation Workers Union in Indonesia, then to help the formulation, and we will also receive so much public participation, including different trade unions in Indonesia,” he said.
