Dr Reddy and Zydus are reminiscent of medicine from America due to poor quality

New -delhi, October 12 (IANS). Two major Indian pharmaceuticals, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Zydus Lifeciences, are reminiscent of medicine from the US market. The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) reported that some problems were found in this medicine during the manufacturing process. In such a situation, this medicine is revoked to ensure the safety of the patients. Dr. Reddy’s US branch decided to recall 571 vials of succinylcholine chloride injection. This medicine is used to relax the muscles. The USFDA said the drug was outside quality standards during a six -month investigation, which asked the recall. This group of this drug is recalled in the US. This case is under a class-2 recall, which means that using this middle can cause temporary or reversible health problems, but the serious health risks are very rare. Similarly, Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA), the American arm of Zydus Lifeciences, also remembered more than 1,500 boxes of entcavir tablets. Entecavir is an antiviral drug that is mainly used in the treatment of a disease called chronic hepatitis B. The USFDA reported that problems related to impurities and spoilers were found in this drug. As a result, 912 bottles of 0.5 mg and 600 bottles of 1 mg of entecavir tablets were recalled from the market. India has the largest number of factories that produce medicines according to USFDA standards, located outside America. This is not the first time that Indian pharmaceutical businesses had to remember their medicine from America. Even before that, many companies recalled medicines for quality or production -related reasons. Sun Pharma, Lupine and Dr Reddy’s previously remembered similar medicines. Their main goal was to precede the safety of patients. Also in July this year, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries in Mumbai 5.448 bottles of a drug used in the treatment of hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This medicine was lisdexamfetamine demesylate capsules. The drug could not meet the required solubility standards in the required tests, whereby the company took this step to keep in mind the safety of its customers. —IANS PK/AS SHARE THIS STORY TAGS
