Jakarta – The drama of the alleged defamation case by Lisa Mariana against former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil (RK) continues. Lisa’s accusations against Ridwan Kamil led to suspect status. Ridwan Kamil reported Lisa Mariana to the police’s criminal investigation unit in April 2025. Ridwan reported Lisa in terms of the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Act because she was deemed to be spreading information for which there were no legal facts. RK reported to Bareskrim about suspected violation of Section 51 in conjunction with Section 35, Section 48 in conjunction with Section 32, Section 45 in conjunction with Section 27A of Law Number 1 of 2024 regarding ITE. RK emphasized that this was not true and accusing Lisa of having children was a cruel slander. “Yesterday news circulated that someone claimed to have a child of mine. I must convey that this is not true and is an evil, economically motivated slander that is being recycled,” said Ridwan Kamil via his Instagram account, Thursday (27/3/2025). However, RK admitted that he met the woman who is said to be his affair. But RK emphasized that the meeting between the two was related to a request for college assistance. RK also emphasized that the problem with the woman was resolved several years ago. RK then admitted that he was confused as to why this issue had come up again. “I only met the person in question once, regarding a request for college assistance. And this problem was resolved 4 years ago by accurate, irrefutable evidence, that she was already pregnant when we met and therefore the person in question apologized in front of her family,” he explained. DNA test results do not match. During the alleged defamation case, Lisa demanded a DNA test. On August 7, 2025, the investigation team together with the National Police Health Center team took blood samples and vocal swabs from RK as reporter. The national police team also took DNA samples from Lisa and her child with the initials CA. The DNA sample was then examined by the National Police Health Center Laboratory Bureau. DNA testing was conducted to determine if there was a genetic or biological relationship between RK and Lisa’s child, namely CA. On August 20, the results of the DNA test were announced and there were no matches. “On August 20, 2025, the Indonesian National Police Health Center Laboratory Bureau presented the results of the DNA examination to investigators with the result that brother RK and sister LM’s child with the initials CA did not have a DNA match or was non-identical,” said Head of Sub-Directorate I Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri Prakos Rizki Agung. Karo Labdokkes Pusdokkes Polri Brigadier General Sumy Hastry Purwanti said that his party received the DNA of RK, Lisa and CA on August 7. The team then carried out a series of investigations of the six pieces of evidence received. DNA laboratory examination of the six DNA sample evidence includes examination of DNA sample evidence, DNA extraction, DNA quantification, DNA amplification, DNA typing with cavalier electroporosis, DNA profile analysis and preparation of a DNA examination result letter. “From the results of the analysis of all DNA profiles obtained, it has been scientifically proven that CA is genetically the biological child of Lisa Mariana Presly Zulkandar, not the biological child of Muhammad Ridwan Kamil,” he said. Deadlock Mediation Bareskrim Polri mediated the alleged defamation report filed by Ridwan Kamil against Lisa Mariana. However, the mediation ended in a stalemate or no agreement. “The results of the mediation have been concluded, what is clear is that the mediation has been caught,” Lisa’s lawyer, Jhon Boy Nababan, said on Tuesday (23/9/2025) at the police’s criminal investigation unit, South Jakarta. His party is ready to follow the follow-up process of the RK report. It is known that after mediation, investigators will conduct a case title to identify the suspect. “So we will hand over all the processes to Bareskrim about what will happen in the future. What is clear is that the result is a stalemate, so there will be no mediation,” Jhon explained. “What is clear (the legal process) is still ongoing. That’s why we will later hand over everything to Bareskrim for further processes,” he continued. Ridwan Kamil’s lawyer, Muslim Jaya Butar Butar, confirmed that his client was reluctant to pursue a peaceful path with Lisa Mariana. Ridwan Kamil wants the case to continue until it is decided by the court. “Mr RK prefers to continue because the impact of the defamation carried out by LM is extraordinary, so there must be a deterrent effect to be given by the court later. Let the court decide how it will be,” he said at the Bandung District Court, which was reported by detikJabar, Monday (22/9/2025). Lisa Mariana becomes suspect Bareskrim Polri then named Lisa Mariana as a suspect in the case of defamation of Ridwan Kamil. Lisa was actually interviewed as a suspect last Monday but it was cancelled. “(Monday) LM was summoned as a suspect,” Head of Sub-Directorate I Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Rizki Agung Prakoso, told journalists on Sunday (19/10/2025). Rizki said Lisa will be questioned tomorrow at 11:00 WIB at Bareskrim. The summons as a suspect was received last Friday. Lisa’s investigation as a suspect was postponed due to illness. Lisa asked to reschedule the exam for next week. Lisa Mariana’s reaction to being a suspect Lisa Mariana is ready to face the legal process after being named a suspect. Jhony believes that the determination of Lisa as a suspect must be tested. “The response was that she was ready to face all these problems,” Lisa’s lawyer, Jhony Boy Nababan, told journalists at the Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit, South Jakarta, on Monday (20/10/2025). Jhoni believes that no party has been defamed by Lisa. Still, he believes that Lisa obeys the law. “Our client also obeys the law, he has cooperated from the beginning until now to follow the ongoing process. Because whose reputation is this defamation?” he explained. “Because the cause and effect is there. It’s not our client’s own hallucination that he dreamed he knew a former governor.
