Police will investigate another 12 employees, 20 students investigating
Police are preparing to take further important steps in the MBBS exam fraud held at the Pandit BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR), while public pressure increases to give people as soon as possible and strict punishment. A case has so far been registered against 41 people in the case that came out in February, including 24 MBBS students from a private medical college and 17 UHSR employees. So far, only three employees have been arrested and no concrete action has been undertaken against the students so far, which is criticized for the slow investigation. According to sources, police are now trying to investigate another 12 employees, whose name is already registered in the fir. In addition, four more people are being investigated, whose names emerged during the continued investigation. Permission to interrogate these people was obtained from the university. Twenty MBBS students registered in the FIR are also being investigated and more arrests are likely in the coming days. United Doctor Front, an organization of medical experts, called on chief minister Naib Singh Saini for decisive action. The president of the organization, Dr. Amit Vyas, said: “The scam not only hampered the reputation of medical education, but also endangered the future of thousands of honest and hardworking students.” In his letter to the Chief Minister, Dr. Vyas claimed independent investigation at the high level, which was immediately suspended to the accused students and strict administrative and legal action against the university employees involved. He also emphasized the need for radical changes to make the university examination system more transparent, safe and free of fraud. Share this story -tags
