57 trucks carrying ballas without overload and permit
On Wednesday morning, a joint team of revenue, transport, mining and police departments launched a major campaign against overload and illegal mining in Ahraura area. During the operation, 57 trucks were seized and a fine of about Rs 63 Lakh was also charged. The campaign was ordered by SDM Chunar Rajesh Kumar Verma, with whom mining officer Jitendra Singh, Arto SP Singh, the maintenance Arto Vijay Prakash Singh, Dto Kanhaiya Gupta and Ahraura police station Ajay Kumar Seth were present. The team first started looking at the highway, where vehicles were caught with 20 overload and without permits. It was then reported that dozens of trucks were hidden in the vegetable market near Ahraura Toll Plaza. When the team fell on the spot, more than 30 trucks full of ballast and sand were found there, which was immediately seized. Heavy fines, the campaign will continue, the transport department was imposed by the mining division with a fine of 27 Lakh and Rs 26 Lakh.
