Jakarta – An earthquake with a size (m) 4.0 strength that occurred in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, was felt to Bogor. The strength of the earthquake made the window of residents’ homes in Bogor Sway. It was revealed by Pamijahan residents, Bogor Regency, named Wilda. He was shocked when his house trembled because of the earthquake. “Yes, the cradle window,” Wilda said when he was contacted by AFP on Sunday (9/21/2025). The earthquake took place on Saturday (9/20) at 23.47 WIB. “The earthquake center is on land northeast of Sukabumi,” BMKG said in his statement. Earthquakes occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers with a coordinate point of 6.76 South Breadwing and 106.57 east length. “Be careful of supplementary earthquakes that can occur,” BMKG added. This earthquake was felt with the MMI III scale in Pamijahan, Bogor and MMI II in Pelabuhanratu, Sukabumi. MMI II means vibrations are felt by various people, light objects swinging.
