Dinkar was ready to bet for 'Urvashi', Dinkar, Jnanpith received from Sadhana

New -Delhi, September 22 (IANS). Although many stars shine in the air of the Hindi literature, but Ramdhari Singh Dinkar is like the sun, whose flame has still become sharp. He is known as Rashaktrakkavi, but he was in fact the form of a world poet, great poet and Janakavi. His poetry is full of Oos, full of Raga and also plunged into the depths of spirituality. This can be said by covering them that their poems are unique confluence of fire, Raga and spirituality, which still touches the hearts of the readers by crossing the periods. The literary life of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, born on September 23, 1908 in Simaria Village in the Munger district Bihar, began in 1924 with a poem published in the bi -weekly ‘student Sahodar’ (Jabalpur). After this, Dinkar’s ‘Kavya Yatra’ went through many stops. Poetry such as Renuka, Hunkar, Kurukshetra, Rashmirathi, Parashurama awaiting his greatness, while one of his classic work ‘Urvashi’ is a dimension of his creative personality, which contains a very subtle, serious and cultural analysis of beauty, love, woman and husband’s emotion. However, writing ‘Urvashi’ poetry was not so easy for him. First, the poet wants the poem to catch him, and if the poem catches him, it does not sleep or does not wake up from the poet. The incomplete poem keeps a needle in his mind and until the poem is completed, the poet remains in trouble day and night. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar has suffered for 8 years at the time of the ‘Urvashi’ poetry. In ‘Dinkar’s Diary: Dinkar Granthmala’, this sadness of Dinkar is found at the time of ‘Urvashi’ poetry. This is a matter of 1953. Kartarsingh Duggal, a prestigious All India Radio officer, requested Dinkar to write a verse drama for radio broadcast. Dinkar accepted this proposal and from this the seed of ‘Urvashi’ was sown. The first edition was prepared and also broadcast of the entire India radio. But after this Dinkar had a look at such a great likelihood in this poetry, he refused to tie it to the radio. He told Kartarsingh Duggal: “Duggal Ji, now I will not write the leading part of it from the radio’s point of view. I have begun to see a lot of possibility in this poetry. In this way, the issue of broadcast of the radio ends there. This dialog is called ‘Dinkar’s Diary’. However, further challenges began to increase for Dinkar in this composition. He writes: “I have not had as many problems with the creation of any other poetry as I had in the creation of this poetry. Where the poem came and stopped is the way to take it forward for two years. I did not turn around where I did not turn away.” Dinkar wandered from Delhi to Kashmir with incomplete lines and materials of this poem. After taking all the manuscripts, he also went to the peace of Kashmir, but he couldn’t even become a poetry. There was a lot of progress in a garden in Ranchi, but then the composition stopped. The hardest time came when Dinkar became seriously ill in 1960. The body began to answer, and it began to fear that death would not come before and ‘Urvashi’ would not remain incomplete. But Dinkar has decided, what is happening now, he will not give up his life without fulfilling this poem. The doctors forbade him, because when he went to the deep creation Samadhi, he became unconscious. But Dinkar pleaded, “Now there is no fascination for life, only the poem must be fulfilled.” The doctor advised him: “If he is unconscious, leak a little honey.” And so Dinkar completed the composition of this immortal poetry, regardless of his life. When ‘Urvashi’ was completed, Dinkar felt satisfied. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s ‘Urvashi’ poetry was published in 1961. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was awarded the Jnanpith Award in 1973 for this heart -gripping poetry. -Ians DCH/DSC
