Emami's profit fell by 41.9 percent in the fourth quarter, and revenue also fell by 8.3 percent

Mumbai, May 16 (IANS) FMCG sector chief Emami Limited said on Friday that its net profit dropped by 41.9 percent to Rs 162.17 Crore in the FY 2025’s January-March quarter (fourth quarter), while the figure Rs 278.98 crore was in the previous quarter (December Quartic). The company’s revenue fell 8.3 percent during the January March period to Rs 963.05 crore, compared to Rs 1,049,48 crore in the December quarter of FY 2025. The total expenses also rose by about 4.62 percent in the fourth quarter to Rs 743.61. However, Emami’s consolidated net profit in the fourth quarter of FY 25 increased by 8.9 percent to Rs 162.17 crore year -on -year, which was Rs 148.90 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s consolidated revenue also rose 8.1 percent to Rs 963.05 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 25. In the entire financial year 25, Emami earned revenue of Rs 3.809,19 crore, which is 6.5 percent more than the previous financial year. The company’s net profit for the total FY 25 increased by 11.5 percent to Rs 806.46 crore. Emami’s global operations scored a 6 percent increase in the fourth quarter. Emami’s vice -chairman and managing director Harsh v Aggarwal said that the domestic company of the company increased by 11 percent in the fourth quarter. The reason is to increase the volume by 7 percent.
