6 People died due to heavenly lightning in Bihar, CM Nitish announced compensation of 4-4 lakhs
Most parts of Bihar are reportedly heavy rain with thunderstorms. Seven people died between Sunday night to Monday due to lightning in six state districts. Lightning in Aurangabad and Buxar killed two people, while one person died in Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhagalpur and Darbhanga. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deeply sadly about the incidents of thunderstorms. He instructed the dependents of the deceased to provide immediately assistance from four Lakh calls. The chief minister said he was with the affected families within the hour of this disaster. He called on the people to be fully vigilant during the bad weather. Follow the instructions given by the Department of Disaster Management from time to time to prevent heavenly electricity in the event of bad weather. Stay indoors during bad weather and be safe.
