Emphasis on the meeting of Brics ministers, global cooperation and sustainable development
New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). Ministers of Foreign and International Relations of Brics countries held an annual meeting on September 26 at the 80th United Nations General Assembly. The meeting is chaired by India, which is the future president of Brics for 2026. The meeting discussed global and regional issues, including topics such as political, security, economic, financial and sustainable development. The ministers consulted to increase collaboration within the United Nations agenda and Brics. The ministers focused on three main areas of political protection, economics and cultural interaction. He has committed to strengthening strategic partnership for the benefit of his people. The meeting further emphasizes the cooperation of extensive Brics countries. Earlier, the results of the seventeenth Brics Summit were also appreciated at Rio de Janeiro at Rio de Janeiro at 6-7 July 2025. The theme of this conference was “strengthening global South cooperation, more inclusive and sustainable management.” Brics and countries and invited countries participated. The ministers promised to implement the decisions made during the summit, such as an exposition of climate financing, artificial intelligence statements and a partnership for the eradication of social diseases. The meeting highlights the promotion of multilateralism and multi -polarity. The ministers spoke of preference at the principles of the United Nations Charter, such as international peace, the protection of human rights and sustainable development. He advocated not to interfere in internal affairs of other countries, to increase collaboration based on equality and mutual respect. At the same time, more participation in global decision -making processes from emerging markets and developing countries, especially Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. The ministers have demanded to increase the leadership and representation of women in the United Nations and other international organizations. He advocated the appointment of senior positions on the basis of transparency and inclusion, so that no country or group would be monopolized.
