Mini Auction for Hockey India League 2026 will be held on September 24

New -Delhi, September 23 (IANS). Mini auction of male and female players for Hockey India League (Hil) 2026 will be held in New -Delhi on Wednesday. All franchises will gather to improve their teams and connect the most talented talents of world hockey. More than 100 male and female players will bid during a mini auction. There is a limit of Rs 4 -crore for men’s teams and Rs 2 crore for women’s teams. Each team will have 20 players (2 goal scorers + 18 outdoor players), which will include a maximum of 7 foreign and minimum 3 Indian junior players. The auction has three base price sheets of Rs 2 Lakh, Rs 5 Lakh and Rs 10 Lakh, in which minimum Rs 2 Lakh will be for both Indian and foreign players. Teams will also be expected to maintain the balance between the players needed to fulfill their balance and the team. On this occasion, Dr. Dilip Tirkey, president of Hockey India, said: “To ensure the ongoing success of any league, especially for a heritage contest, requires a federation determination and dedication. The main goal of any league is to create inclusion and opportunities for the development of the game.
