Euphoria Season 3 Reveals Image Of Oscar-Nominee In New Role As 18 More Join Final Season

Euphoria season 3 is rounding out the rest of its cast, adding an Oscar nominee along with a slew of other actors who will be joining Zendaya’s Rue for one final chaotic entry. The HBO show, created by Sam Levinson, is set to premiere its third and likely final season in 2026, more than four years after its second season bowed.
Speculation as to what the future of the show looks like has run rampant, especially considering that much of its main cast has gone on to become major movie stars. Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney are three of the most visible actors working today with jam-packed schedules that include filming blockbusters, high-profile awards campaigns, and a slew of other projects.
Still, Euphoria season 3 has gone full steam ahead and production has continued throughout this year. With that winding down, though, HBO has provided a better look at what the entire cast will look like when the show eventually returns.
Acclaimed actress Danielle Deadwyler is joining the HBO series, pictured below in the first look at her character. Other actors joining the final season include a mix of new and returning stars: Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, and Trisha Paytas.
The previously announced returning cast includes Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo. They’ll be joined by Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner, who are all now confirmed to return.
Euphoria has always juggled a large ensemble, but what that will look like for the third season remains a mystery. The show is set to drop its high school setting and move its characters beyond the classroom as they embark on their adult lives. Set photos have hinted at what that entails, including Alexa Demie’s job as a dancer and a potential wedding for Elordi and Sweeney’s characters Nate and Cassie.
How all of these new actors will factor into these dynamics is something to consider. Deadwyler is an acting force to be reckoned with, so all eyes will be on her character. The additions of Roth, Lyonne, and Paytas are also intriguing — they are polarizing figures that will only add further texture to the chaotic world that Levinson has created with Euphoria.
