Everything will be solved in the grand alliance on Bihar elections: Harish Rawat

New Delhi, October 18 (IANS). Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat has given clarification on the split in the India alliance regarding the Bihar assembly elections. He said that everything will be resolved in the grand alliance. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) fielded its candidates ahead of Congress candidates in some assembly seats of Bihar, creating tension in the alliance. NDA parties believe that this alliance will crumble as the elections approach. Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on Naxalism, Harish Rawat said it is true that the influence of Naxalism increased at one time, but a special campaign was started during the time of the UPA government. Local forces were trained and the people who came out of that training worked to control the influence of Maoism. To say that no one started first is not correct. On Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement on ‘Operation Sindoor’, he said that I completely agree. The habit of winning must be maintained, but the habit of lying must be given up. Let us tell you that regarding the Bihar assembly elections, while the NDA claims that it will form the next government in Bihar, the political parties included in the India bloc believe that there will be change in Bihar. However, no party leader is ready to speak openly about the ongoing tussle over seats in the alliance. Voting will take place in two phases in Bihar. The result will be announced on November 14. Next week, along with PM Modi, CMs from BJP-ruled states will also boost the election campaign. –IANS DKM/DKP Share this story Tags
