Excellent performance of Madhya Pradesh in excellent implementation of Aadi Karmayogi campaign, honored President Murmu

New Delhi, October 17 (IANS). President Draupadi Murmu honored Madhya Pradesh on Friday in the National Conclave organized on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. State Chief Secretary Tribal Affairs Gulshan Bamra received the state level award for the outstanding performance of Madhya Pradesh. He made a presentation on the efforts being made under the leadership of State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for the social and economic upliftment of the tribal community. Madhya Pradesh has been ranked among the first five states in the country that have done well in implementing the Adi Karmayogi campaign. It is noteworthy that the Adi Karmayogi campaign was initiated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to accelerate the socio-economic development of tribal communities. The objective is to develop leadership capacity at the village level in tribal areas, ensure effective implementation of schemes and make governance more accountable. This campaign is based on values ​​like service, determination and dedication, which is an important step to make the tribal community self-reliant, aware and empowered. Briefing about the status of tribal development in Madhya Pradesh, Tribal Affairs Principal Secretary Gulshan Bamra said that 1 lakh 41 thousand Adi fellows are working in the Adi Karmayogi campaign. Along with this, 1 lakh 92 thousand Adi Saathi and 1,210 non-governmental organizations fulfill the responsibility. Its aim is to create three lakh change leaders who help in the implementation of tribal development plans at the grassroots level. 13,000 Adi Seva Kendras have been created to help the tribal people. Special attention is given to the education of children in tribal areas. Children who leave school are monitored. Currently, there are 2,913 institutions including Mata Shabari Residential Girls Education Complex, Hostel, Adarsh ​​​​​​Residential School, Eklavya Model Residential School, Ashram School, Sports Complex, which have the capacity to accommodate 2 lakh 30 thousand students. Special sessions were also organized on skill development of students. Health camps are regularly organized for the prevention of malaria, TB and anaemia. This year, more than 81,000 Ayushman cards were distributed in just three months from June to September. Special initiatives have also been taken for maternal safety. Apart from this, telemedicine services have been conducted in more than 9 thousand Ayushman Arogya health centers. Self-help groups were formed and linked to job creation and livelihood activities. Credit facilities were provided to them to start economic activities. Excellent work has been done in Madhya Pradesh in implementing beneficiary oriented schemes under PM Janman Yojana. 100 percent performance was achieved in providing documents like Aadhar Card, Jan Dhan Bank Account, Ayushman Card, Caste Certificate, Kisan Credit Card, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ration Card. Shivpuri, Maihar, Raisen, Katni and Bhind have excelled in issuing Ayushman cards. Shivpuri was also honored for his excellent performance in PM Janman. Betul district of Madhya Pradesh has been honored among the outstanding districts at the national level in the Adi Karmayogi campaign. Assistant Research Officer Sarika Dholpuriya was honored in the State’s Outstanding Master Trainer category. Betul, Dhar, East Nimar and Barwani were given special mention among other excellent performing districts in the Adi Karmayogi campaign. State Deputy Commissioner Tribal Development JP Yadav was also honored as State Level Super Coach and Master Coach. Integrated Tribal Development Agencies Barwani, Betul and Shivpuri were honored for implementing notable activities. Guna, Burhanpur and Vidisha were honored for their outstanding performance in Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan. Integrated Tribal Development Agency Guna and Integrated Tribal Development Agency Vidisha were awarded for their outstanding performance. It is noteworthy that village action plans of 14 thousand villages have been prepared in the Adi Karmayogi campaign. It was approved by the Gram Sabha. More than 13 thousand Adi Seva centers have been established in these towns.
