The United Nations Refugee -High Commissioner (UNHCR) on Friday called on the international community to increase the scope of assistance to deal with the flooding in South Sudan. According to the agency, more than one Lakh people were relocated due to flooding. The United Nations Refugee Agency has warned that if the floods continue, approximately 4,00,000 people can be displaced by the end of the year, which will be more than the level that will be seen in 2024. “Without extra funds, without extra money, UNHCR representative in South Sudan, Mary-Helen Warne, said in a statement already through the floods in a new bicycle and a serious bike.
