Ahmedabad, September 21 (IANS). The state government began extensive preparations for the festivals of Navratri and Deepawali in Gujarat. During these festivals, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) 1600 arranged additional buses for the ease of passengers. This initiative was taken with the aim of facilitating traffic for people traveling in different cities of state. Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of Home and Transport in Gujarat, said this time special arrangements were made in light of the increasing number of passengers during Navratri and Deepawali. He said: “This is the first time GSRTC has introduced group discussion facility, in which government buses will take passengers out of their home and fall at the destination.” This feature will be especially useful for passengers who want to travel with their family and friends during festivals. The enthusiasm is also at its peak about the Navratri festival starting on Monday. Harssh Sanghvi said that the celebration of Navratri will be unique this time. He said: “Along with dedication to Maa AMBA, this time will also be heard” Operation Sindoor “. This initiative is a step towards strengthening the security and the system during Navratri.” In addition, the changes in GST have also created a wave of happiness in traders and the general public. During Navratri, special arrangements were also made for cultural events such as Garba and Dandiya. Special care is for safety and comfort for Garba players until late night. The Minister of State Affairs for Home Affairs said: “It is our effort that people can drown in commitment to MABA and enjoy the Garba without any problems until late night. Special instructions have been given to the police and administration, so that the arrangements in the events are maintained.” GSRTC also ensured that buses were operated on time and that passengers had no inconvenience. Along with additional buses, the ticket discussion process was also simplified by both online and offline mediums.
