Fadli Zon has a cultural workshop for the National HMI Wati Alumni Forum

Jakarta – Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Menbud) Fadli Zon gave a cultural speech to the National HMI Wati Alumni Forum (Forhati) Cultural Workshop. This forum, which takes place in Tavia Heritage Hotel, Jakarta, is a series of commemoration of the Month of Language and Literature that falls in October. With his remarks, Fadli gave the greatest appreciation for Forhati who held a cultural workshop with the theme of language and literature. He gave an example of the youth promise that became an important milestone in literature and language. “One of the content of the youth promise is to maintain the language of unity, namely Indonesian. That is, unity is the most important capital for a progress, and the language of unity is the glue of the nation,” Shafi’i explained. Forhati is an organization that brings together female alumni of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) and is part of the extended family of the Islamic Student Association Alumni Corps (Kahmi). Forhati intends to be a strategic forum for trained Muslim women trained to continue contributing to national development, especially in economic empowerment and social change.
