Fadli Zon Price Visitors to the RI -Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka which reached 3.5 million

Jakarta – Indonesian Minister of Culture Fadli Zon made a state visit to Japan. With a series of work agendas, Fadli Expo 2025 visited Osaka, Kansai, Japan, which closes on October 13, 2025. During this visit, Fadli, Minister of Culture, visited the Japan Pavilion as host. Accompanied by the Deputy Director of the Japanese Pavilion, Fadli appreciated the ‘junkan’ concept that reflects the life cycle by harmony between tradition and future technology. This pavilion carries the theme ‘Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future’, a concept adapted from the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. Until the end of September 2025, the Indonesian pavilion also recorded investment potential worth almost US $ 24 billion for different national development sectors. Fadli explained that the Indonesian Ministry of Culture played an active role during the six months of implementation in supporting cultural promotion and strengthening the pavilion as a display window for Indonesian cultural diplomacy, through supporting performances and exhibitions of cultural promotional objects, such as traditional dance, music, theater and literature. Fadli also expressed its greatest appreciation for Bappenas/Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia as the person responsible for the success in organizing the pavilion who not only attracted millions of visitors, but also strengthened the cultural image of Indonesia on the international stage. This success is the result of solid collaboration between different ministries/institutions and strategic partners. The Indonesian pavilion is architecturally inspired by the Maritime Heritage of Indonesia with the concept of a large ship building representing a maritime people. This pavilion is built with strong environmentally friendly principles and uses Plana Wood, a sustainable material consisting of rice peel waste, recycled plastic and natural additives-a concrete manifestation of Indonesia’s commitment to innovation in sustainability.
