Family affected by flood will get cooperation, every farmer's problem will be heard: Minister Raksha Khadse
Chandigarh, September 16 (IANS). The Minister of State and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse, together with former Union Minister Parneet Kaur, visited the flooding sections of the Samana and the Sanour meeting in Punjab on Tuesday. During this he checked the land situation and also communicated with the families involved. The minister visited towns such as Dudhan Gurjaran, Budhmore, Mahmudpur, Jalan Khedi, Sasi Gurjaran and Dharmhedi, who recently became the most due to the rise of TanGri, Markanda and Ghaggar Rivers. During this visit, Raksha Khadse ordered the district administration to set up a comprehensive loss report so that the affected families could be reimbursed in time. On this occasion, farmers demanded rivers clean, the construction of permanent dam construction and immediate recovery from Patiala-Pihowa Road. This path is considered a lifeline connecting Kurukshetra. Raksha Khadse gave the farmers the assurance that their problems would be produced before the Prime Minister’s office, the Union Water Commission and the Ministry of Road Transport to ensure immediate relief as well as permanent solutions. Former Union Minister Parneet Kaur reminded that Patiala also faced a similar flood in 2023. He said that the solution to this crisis will only be found if there is collective coordination between Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had instructed all state ministers to keep land assessments of the flood -driven areas of Punjab. The Yatra concludes in the town of Dharmahedi, where farmers have shown on the issue of Hansi-Butana channel. After ensuring the two leaders, the Boers ended their poster and expressed their confidence in the central government. District President Jaspal Singh Gagrauli, Harmesh Goyal, Sanour Incheck Vikram Inderjit Singh Chahal and Samana Inchard Surinder Singh Khedi were also present at the event. -Ians vku/as part this story tags
