Lastly updated: September 24, 2025, 23:01 IST FARKRINTHABAD NEWS: In Jhouni Nagla Village of Farprekrhabad, the true glory of Deepawali is decorated with earthlock and eggs. Also this time, artisans are working hard day and night in the hope that the tendency of people from Chinese lamps will move away and return to earthlamps. Farkrukhabad: The right fun of festivals is hidden in traditions and when it comes to Diwali, the bumps are their own interest. Jhuni Nagla Village of Farkrukhabad District of Uttar Pradesh is a living example of this. As soon as Deepawali arrives, the scent of soil and the beat of chalk fills the village. More than half of the population of the village of Jhuni Nagla is related to the work of making earthlock and pomegranate. Here, the Potter families have been living their art alive for generations. As Deepawali approaches, the whole town joins this traditional work with the family. Now, using electric crayon machines, DIYAS and pomegranate are made with attractive designs. The hard work of forming the soil says that it is not an easy task to prepare a lamp or pomegranate. It takes a few days of hard work to filter the ground to knee and then form it. All the family members share their hands in this work and regard the preparation of Deepawali as their general obligation. In a conversation with the tradition of generations, Narendra Kumar and Verkaj told that their family has been performing this tradition for years. The passion to keep in touch with this art and tradition inspires them to work day and night. Nekdaj said Deepawali was nearby and that orden lamps and pomegranates had come. The family constantly prepares them together. The houses will be alleviated with earthenware, this time the potters are hopeful that people with Chinese lamps will become disillusioned and that the earthen lamps will shine from house to house again. If these lamps spread the light of Deepawali, their brightness will also ease the potters’ homes. About the author Seema Nath Seema Nath has been working in the media field for five years.
