Farmer Khidmat Ghar introduced in Daraj B Panchayat of Rajouri will get villagers many facilities
Rajouri, April 9 (IANS). A new start has been made for farmers in the remote Panchayat Darage B in the district of Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir. The ‘Kisan Khidmat Ghar’ (single window service center) was inaugurated here. The initiative is conducted under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP), which is an important step towards strengthening rural agriculture in partnership with Lieutenant Governor Administration and the Central Government. This Kisan Seva Kendra was inaugurated by Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri. Chief Agricultural Officer Sohan Singh and Sdo Budhal Ranjan Sharma were also present at the event. The center will serve as a digital multi -purpose service center for residents, especially farmers, where several large services will be rendered. Farmers get seeds on subsidy under hadp and agricultural advice will be given in Kisan Khidmat Ghar. Registration facility is available for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. From here, the application of documents such as passport, pan card, the payment of electricity water will be assisted. Apart from this, ration cards, photo pressure and other online services will also be available. The responsibility to operate the center was entrusted to the local youth Afroz Hameed, who thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government for this initiative. He said: “It’s not just a job, but an opportunity to serve his community.” The residents were warmly welcomed by the residents. Local elders and farmers said this center would be a lifeline for them. An elder said: “We had to go far to the city earlier for small services, now everything is available in our town itself.” Officials said this initiative is an important effort to be the government mission of government to the ground level and to make the youth self -association. In the coming time, there is a plan to introduce more centers, which will result in a revolutionary change in rural rule.
