Taking another important step for the welfare of farmers, the Rajasthan government has started the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme is similar to the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme of the Government of India. Farmers will get R1 000 more on Dhanteras on Saturday. Vinod Kumar Kothari, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Society, who organized the program in Bharatpur, said that under this scheme, the state government deposits R3 000 in the accounts of farmers every year through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from its budget, through which the farmers directly benefit from the money. In this regard, the state government will organize a state level program at Nadbai in Bharatpur district at 2 pm on Dhanteras. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will transfer money. In this program, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will transfer ₹ 1,000 to the accounts of farmers through DBT. This event will be telecast live at Krishi Vigyan Kendras so that beneficiary farmers can participate directly. Around 40,000 farmers of Rajsamand district will get the benefit of Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
