Narada Patel, a farmer from Village Ghotia, planted peanut crop with advanced technology during the Rabi season and got 12 quintal production in 1 hectare, earning him a total income of Rs 72,000. His costs in this farm were Rs 14.047 and the net profit was Rs 57.953. Narada Patel has 2 hectares of land, in which he planted horticultural crop in one hectare and peanut crop in one hectare. He has been growing vegetables for the past twelve years and also experiencing maize and moon cultivation. Narada Patel said the low cost in the cultivation of peanuts said that the agricultural division officials encouraged them to grow peanuts in 1 hectare under the TRFA oilseed scheme. Under this scheme, they received seeds and essential guidelines, which improved production.
