The elderly couple lived alone in the house. The deceased was identified as 65 -year -old Arun Kumar Srivastava and his 60 -year -old wife Mena Srivastava. It is said that Arun Kumar Srivastava was a retired officer of FCI. The attackers strangled Arun Kumar Srivastava and attacked his wife with knives. After the incident was carried out, the attackers closed and escaped both rooms and the main door of the house. Neighbors reported the murder to the police. After the information was received, police reached the place. The bodies were soaked in blood. After this, police broke the lock of the main door and entered the house. When the locks of both rooms were broken, both the elderly couple were soaked in blood in different rooms. When police investigated, Arun Srivastava was found to be dead, while his wife’s breath was still underway. He was then rushed to the hospital, where he died during the treatment. Police kept 3 people. Let’s tell you that Arun Srivastava has 7 wounds to the head, chest, neck and shoulder. The attackers attacked his head with a heavy object except to sand her throat. Mena Srivastava also sustained a serious head injury. Arun Srivastava was originally from Chunar, Mirjapur. The deceased has three daughters and a son. Police detained an electrician in this case.
