FDA to provide data in which Covid vaccines are linked to child deaths at ACIP meeting: Report

Federal health officials prepare them to offer data. They claim tire Covid vaccines up to 25 deaths in children during the upcoming meeting for advisory committee for immunization practices (ACIP), NBC News reported. The two-day meeting, which is planned for Thursday and Friday, will review recommendations for various vaccines, including the updated Covid shots of the fall. FDA Bases claim on Vaers Data The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) plans to rely on data from the Vaccoin Neadly event reporting system (FAER’s), a publicly available database jointly maintained by the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Finishers allow someone – including doctors, patients and caregivers – to report adverse events that they suspect it is linked to vaccines. However, the reports were not verified and intended as a guideline for further investigation rather than being a cause. Dorit Reiss, an expert on the vaccine policy at the University of California, San Francisco, told NBC News: “To identify the cause of a vaccine, you must show that the cause of death was something that caused the vaccine, and in itself a Vaers report would not show that you need larger studies to compare the damage or without the vaccine.” The Vaers website itself warns that reports may contain inaccurate, incomplete or biased information and must be interpreted with these restrictions in mind. Experts’ setbacks A former FDA official, who spoke anonymously, pushed back the findings of the agency, the news store reports. “I can tell you on a stack of Bibles that we have looked through all the autopsy reports and that we have found nothing,” the official said in an SMS. “Unless someone hid them for us, I don’t know what he is referring to.” Numerous studies support the safety of Covid vaccines in children. Controversial changes at ACIP recently rejected Robert Kennedy, health secretary of health, all existing ACIP members and replaced it with hand-cut individuals, including some well-known anti-vaccine activists. The American Academy of Pediatrics has described Kennedy’s new appointments as a ‘radical departure’ of the committee’s mission to protect children. One new panel member, Retseef Levi, a Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology who is not a doctor will lead the Covid vaccine workgroup. Levi publicly claimed that Covid vaccines are causing serious damage and death. Implications for the recommendations of the vaccine access made by the ACIP may affect the vaccination of Covid vaccination. Kennedy has already limited access and announced the FDA approval of updated Covid shots only for people aged 65 and older and those with underlying medical conditions.
