Fed -Governor Cook declared her property in Atlanta as ‘holiday home’ show

* Cook’s Loan Statements, the forms of job discussions seem to be undertaken. * Cook has never sought tax exemption for Georgia House as primary accommodation * accusations against Cook amid Trump’s efforts to lower Fed to the rates by Chris Prentice and Marisa Taylor Washington, September 12 (Reuter) -a loan estimate for an Atlanta home purchased by Lisa Cook, the Federal Reserve purchased by the Trump as a ‘holiday home’, according to a document reviewed by Reuters. The document, dated May 28, 2021, was issued by her credit union in the weeks before she completed the purchase and shows that she told the lender that the property of Atlanta would not be her primary residence. It appears that the document counteracts other documentation cited by Cook’s critics to support their allegations that she committed mortgage fraud by reporting two different homes as her primary home, two independent real estate experts said. Reuters could not reach Cook for comment. She has repeatedly denied any violation of her properties, which also includes a home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and an investment property in Massachusetts. Administration officials led by Bill Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, used mortgage documents from her properties in Atlanta and Michigan to accuse Cook of claiming as well as her ‘primary home’. The alleged false claims of residence, which can improve mortgage loan and tax implications for a homeowner, have led to Pulte referring the case to the Justice Department, who asked a federal investigation and an order from President Donald Trump to dismiss her. Cook, who lives with the Federal Reserve, sued the president to withstand her dismissal. Reuters could not determine whether pulses or administration officials are aware of Cook’s Atlanta loan estimate. FHFA spokesmen, the agency led by Pulte, did not respond to a request for comment. The documents cited by pulses include standardized federal mortgage paperwork that states that each loan obtained by Cook for the Atlanta and Michigan Properties is intended for a ‘primary home’. But documentation reviewed by Reuters for the Atlanta Home, which was submitted to a court in the Fulton County in Georgia, said the provision clearly exists “unless the lender agrees in writing.” The loan estimate, a document drawn up by the credit union, reads: “Property use: Vacation Home.” The document seems to help Cook’s case, two real estate experts said who are not involved in the representation of her. This is because it indicates that during the loan application process she told the lend shooter that she intended to use the property as a holiday home. The money shooter, Washington-based banking fund staff Federal Credit Union, did not respond to a request for comment. In another point that can help Cook’s case, she never requested a tax exemption for the home in Georgia as a primary home, according to property records and a Fulton County tax officer. A separate document reviewed by Reuters, related to a federal form completed by Cook, while gaining security clearance for her role at the Federal Reserve, shows that in December 2021 she also declared the Atlanta property as a ‘2nd home’. Although not related to the connection, the statement on that document agrees, a supplement to a US national security form known as SF-86, in accordance with the claim on her summary of Atlanta loan. The accusations against Cook are a fight over Trump’s attempt to carry out more control over the Federal Reserve, the Central Bank of the United States and an independent institution intended to be free from political interference. Trump has often criticized Fed Governors for their reluctance to lower interest rates since returning to the White House earlier this year. In the midst of the controversy, the personal finances of other government officials and their families have also called into question by competing politicians, the media and others. Last week, Reuters reported that Pulte’s own father and stepmother declared two homes in two different countries as their primary home, which asked a city in Michigan to remove a tax release for their home there and charge the back tax couple. Pulte and his parents did not respond to requests for comment on the matter. (Editing by Paulo Prada.)
