Nevertheless, Purbaya ensured that the reduction in subsidies would not affect the rising electricity tariffs. He emphasized that the government’s orientation was to reduce the burden of the subsidy budget. “The purpose is that. If the subsidy is lowered, it is not increasing the price, the sources of electricity producers are cheap,” he said.
