In this way, the government is still developing technology so that the costs associated with the use of electricity can be cheaper. “But we see that it’s still a little too high. Later, new technology is looking for new technology or efforts, so that the production price is now near the cheap price, or that the subsidies are smaller or really lost,” he said. Purbaya explained that one of the technology referred to was the update of PLTS and new renewable energy resources. “So a good PLTS technology is being sought. And it is not possible to use new renewable energy sources that are cheaper than those today. So it is being sought in the hands of the Surya PLTS, but there is still an increase in efficiency,” he said. Nevertheless, Purbaya ensured that the reduction in subsidies would not affect the rising electricity tariffs. He emphasized that the government’s orientation was to reduce the burden of the subsidy budget. “The purpose is that. If the subsidy is lowered, it is not increasing the price, the sources of electricity producers are cheap,” he said. It is known that President Prabowo summoned a number of ministers at the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to his home in Hambalang, West Java, yesterday (18/9). Prabowo chaired a limited meeting to discuss strategic issues in agriculture, energy and infrastructure.
