UP's role as Premier Candidate and President President
Uttar Pradesh (UP) is recognized as an important state in Indian politics, and 80 lure Sabha seats here it gives central political importance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently an MP of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, is an excellent example of this. Apart from this, the congressional leader Rahul Gandhi represents in the Parliament of the Rae Bareli seat. However, when we talk about the candidates of Uttar Pradesh about the post of president and vice president, this number was relatively low. Uttar Pradesh’s contribution to the presidency became only two presidents of Uttar Pradesh, showing the political identity and contribution of this state. The leading name is from former president, Dr. Zakir Hussain, who belongs to UP and became the first Muslim president of India. After that comes the name of current President Ramnath Kovind, which belongs to the Kanpur district. The term of office of these two presidents gave an important place in the post of presidential post, but the number of candidates for this post of UP was less than other states. While Uttar Pradesh’s contribution to the post of Vice President was elected only two Candidates from UP, Uttar Pradesh was a slightly higher contribution to the post of Vice President. So far, four vice presidents have become UP, and all four together have held a total of five term this prestigious post. Among them, the name of former Vice President Hamid Ansari is prominent, which has decorated the post twice. Thus, Uttar Pradesh represented the post of Vice President several times, but the number of candidates for both president and vice president is still limited compared to other states of the state. Despite the largest number of presidents become the president of Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu has secured a special place in the case. So far, three presidents have received the country from Tamil Nadu, which is more than up. This shows that the states of South India also played an important role in the presidency.
