In this incident, one laborer was burnt and five firefighters were injured. Due to the narrow street it was very difficult to extinguish the fire. A fire broke out in a three-storied illegal warehouse in Osmanpur area in Sector-K, Aliganj. There was panic in the area after seeing the flames and smoke. The fire was so intense that it reached a residence in the neighborhood, in which more than 15 girls were trapped. During this time, a laborer present in the warehouse got burnt. Five firefighters were injured when the balcony collapsed twice while fighting the fire. Aliganj Rishabh Yadav, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), said the fire was brought under control after four and a half hours of hard work. In the neighborhood, a young man named Ravi runs a hostel in a similar building, in which more than 15 girls live. Suddenly at 18:30 on Friday evening, a fire broke out in the warehouse and flames started to rise. This created chaos in the area. The girls who were present in the hostel tried to get out, but the flames stopped them. Of the five laborers present in the warehouse, four escaped but one laborer named Sachin got burnt. As soon as the information was received, ten fire officials reached the spot from Bakshi Ka Talab, Indiranagar, Hazratganj, Gomtinagar and other areas. Firemen formed three teams and started the rescue operation. A team safely rescued 15 girls trapped in the hostel. The vehicles could not reach inside, so an attempt was made to put out the fire by laying pipes for two hundred meters. Joint Commissioner of Police Law and Order Bablu Kumar and Chief Fire Officer Ankush Mittal and other officials reached the spot. When cracks were found in the nearby houses, the police evacuated the nearby houses and kept the cylinder away. Five firefighters were injured when a balcony collapsed twice while fighting the blaze. Smoke was visible from three kilometers away. The incident was so bad that smoke was visible from three kilometers away. Tanmay Rajput present at Purnia crossing told that he was returning home from office. When they then saw black smoke rising from Aliganj, they also came out there. Panic spread among the people. Everyone reached the scene. Somehow the police were taking everyone away from the scene. On the other hand, the building owner was not seen there during the incident.
