Fire broke out at 26 places in Gautam Buddha Nagar within 24 hours, lives saved in many major incidents.

Noida, October 21 (IANS). During the Diwali festival, 26 incidents of fire were recorded in Gautam Buddha Nagar district in the last 24 hours. Major incidents in these incidents involved fire in houses, flats, shops, factories, vehicles and cabins. Under the leadership of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh and the guidance of Fire Chief Pradeep Kumar, the fire brigades acted quickly and efficiently at all locations and controlled the fire and avoided major accidents. The teams of Fire Station Phase-1, Phase-2, Phase-3, Ecotech-1, Ecotech-3, Greater Noida, Knowledge Park, Gaur City Unit and Sector-58 were constantly alert and responded to every call with speed and ensured the safety of life and property. Among these 26 incidents, several cases were particularly noteworthy, the first of which was the fire in Kendriya Vihar Flat B-38 in Sector-51, Noida. On receiving information, three fire units reached the spot. There was smoke inside the apartment and a 50-year-old woman was trapped. The second incident took place at the cardboard factory located at Site-5, Kasna, Greater Noida. It took about six hours of effort to extinguish this fire. Four fire units worked together to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. The fourth incident took place in the flat balconies of Aditya Celebrity Homes in Noida Sector-76 and Ajnara Heritage Society in Sector-74. Firefighters arrived quickly and kept both associations safe and prevented the fire from spreading. The fifth incident took place at E-18 factory located in Noida Sector-6, where three fire units reached the spot and controlled the fire and saved other parts of the factory. In view of Diwali, fire tenders have already been deployed at various sensitive places in Commissionerate Gautam Buddha Nagar.
