He was born on October 24, 1775. He was made in 1837 the Mughal -Equeiser after the death of his father Akbar Shah II. He led Indian soldiers in the first Indian freedom struggle of 1857. In the revolt of 1857 against the reign of the British East India Company sent to Myanmar, Indian soldiers declared him as leader. This uprising included freedom fighters such as Mangal Pandey, Nana Saheb, Tatya Tope, Rani Laxmibai and Kunwar Singh. Although this rebellion was suppressed by the British forces and the rule of the East India Company ended in 1858, Bahadur Shah Zafar had to pay the price after the defeat. He was deported in Burma (now Myanmar). Where he was tortured and left to die. The sacrifice of children still makes people cry. It is said that when Zafar was hungry, the British brought the heads of his sons on a plate and brought them before him. However, the answer of Zafar to the British was very shocking. He said that the sons of India are coming to their father by sacrificing their heads for the country. Many roads across the country are named after Bahadur Shah Zafar. There is a road not only in other parts of the country, including the capital Delhi, but also a road in Lahore, Pakistan and his name in the old Dhaka city of Bangladesh.
