Fire victim's finger in North Jakarta swells, fireman opens ring

Jakarta – The fire brigade (damkar) treats one of the fire victims again in Pademangan, North Jakarta (Jakut). Firefighters were asked to remove the victim’s ring because the finger was swollen. The victim with the initials PJ (41) is being treated in the Pademangan Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The doctor asked the firefighters to open the ring on the victim’s finger. “Officers from the Pademangan Regional Hospital reported a patient post-fire in East Pademangan. The doctor saw that the victim’s finger was swollen, then the nurse contacted the fire department and asked for help to treat him,” the head of operations for the North Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-Division, Thursday/20250, Gatot Sulaiman, said on Thursday. The Fire and Rescue team can handle it in a safe and controlled condition,” he said. 3 people injured due to fire It was previously reported that a house in Pademangan caught fire and caused burns to three people. The fire is believed to have been caused by a gas leak. “The reporter, who is the victim’s neighbor, heard the sound of an explosion and screams from the house next door. After checking, he saw 3 victims come out who were injured by the explosion,” Gatot said. The three victims were women with the initials NRH (36), PJ (35) and MBK (46). The three victims sustained burns of approximately 30% and were then taken to the Pademangan Regional Hospital for medical treatment. The burned area is 12 square meters. Material losses due to this fire are estimated to be around IDR 40.4 million. The house that caught fire was located on Jalan Pademangan 2A Gang 1 RT 01 RW 06, East Pademangan, Jakut. The fire was reported to the fire brigade at 11.08 WIB. Blackout operations began at 11.17 WIB. A total of 7 fire engines and 35 personnel were deployed to the scene of the fire.
