Fitness coach who led Anant Ambani shares simple tips for body strength: 'Sit to eat in a squat position'

From all day in chairs to the avoidance of natural movements such as squat or by sitting through cross bones, the modern lifestyle is quietly eroding our joint and core strength. Fully fitness coach Vinod Channa, who led Anant Ambani and Nita Ambani in their weight loss trips, shared the concerns in an Instagram post on September 16. What movements do we miss? Vinod explained: ‘I tell people who come to the Bot center that they do no intense or beneficial workouts. Whether it rises, sits down, a little dexterity, speed, endurance or power, they avoid it. ‘ Why is there a problem at 90 degrees a problem? According to him, the habit of sitting at a 90 degree angle has their lower body power. ‘The main reason for this is that everyone is sitting in an angle of 90 degrees these days, and the strength of the lower body needed to squat has been lost. Their ankles, knees, hip joints, nuclear power and elbows are all weak. Therefore, they struggle to stand up, sit down and do dexterity. What is the simple solution? Vinod emphasized the importance of small, consistent routines, saying: ‘Even a simple hour to walk on a day is enough to keep your joint and overall body strength. The lack here is the reason for weakness. So, when you get a chance, sit down to eat in a squatting position. ‘ What is the most natural way to eat? He calls it the most natural use of the body and concludes: “This is the traditional Indian style and is the best way, it engages elbows, wrists, shoulders and hip joints while eating. Always try to use your joints and muscles when you have the opportunity.”
