Chandigarh, October 3 (IANS). For the first time in Punjab, special session is held outside the site of the meeting. This special session is held at Shri Anandpur Sahib. The event is the 350th Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, with which the Punjab government will organize many programs on a large scale. A major conference will be held at Sri Anandpur Sahib from October 23 to 25, which will include cultural programs, kirtans, seminars and historical presentations. Ardas will be staged at Gurdwara Sheeshganj Sahib in Delhi on October 25. The Minister of Education has informed that lights and sound performances will be arranged from Punjab from November 1 to November 18, which will show a glimpse of life, teaching and sacrifice from Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. In addition, there is a special gathering at Gurdwara VI Patshahi in Srinagar on November 18 and a religious journey begins on November 19 from Srinagar and Punjab. Minister Harjot Bains said that blood donation camps will be erected across Punjab during this time. A target has also been set to plant about 3.5 lakh trees.
